Sarkozy not ruffled by wife’s nude shots

French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy says her husband was not upset when he learned of all the nude photos she did during her modeling days.

Au contraire.

Bruni-Sarkozy told Vanity Fair magazine that she gathered up her past nude shots to show President Nicolas Sarkozy early in their relationship, telling him: “You must know that this is going to come out.

“He said, ‘Oh, I like this one! Can I have a print of it?’” Bruni-Sarkozy was quoted as telling the magazine, which released an advance copy of the interview on Monday.

The 40-year-old model-turned-singer married Sarkozy, 53, in February after a whirlwind romance. Her new album, “Comme si de rien n’etait” (As if nothing had happened),” appeared in record stores this month.

Vanity Fair’s September edition, with Bruni-Sarkozy photographs by Annie Leibovitz and an interview by special correspondent Maureen Orth, widow of late NBC newsman Tim Russert, hits newsstands Friday.

Amy Winehouse released from London hospital

Amy Winehouse was released from a London hospital Tuesday after an overnight stay to treat what her spokesman said was an adverse reaction to medication.

The 24-year-old singer-songwriter was discharged from London’s University College after spending the night in observation, said spokesman Chris Goodman.

Winehouse was rushed to the hospital’s emergency room by ambulance from her north London home Monday night. Goodman said the medication had been taken at her home, but did not provide further details.

“She had a bit of a scare yesterday because of a reaction to treatment. She was kept in overnight purely for observation,” Goodman said in a statement. “Amy is at home now after leaving with her father and manager. She is having a rest.”

Winehouse, who won Grammy Awards and global acclaim for her 2006 album, “Back to Black,” was admitted to a London clinic in June after collapsing at home. Her father, Mitch Winehouse, said at the time she had developed early stage emphysema from smoking cigarettes and crack cocaine.

But the troubled singer was released to perform at celebrations for former South African President Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday in London’s Hyde Park and for Britain’s Glastonbury music festival.

In addition to her health woes, Winehouse has had several run-ins with police in recent months.

She was investigated by police after a tabloid newspaper published a video that appeared to show her smoking crack cocaine. She was not charged.

Police also cautioned Winehouse in April for assault after she slapped a man during a night out.

From the first time I heard Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five on the radio I knew I was hooked on music and it would be a part of my life. Have music around made life easier growing up in the ghetto. Hip-hop was the main attracting in my life and got me into lot of trouble in school and at home. Having an older sister made it easier for me to get my little hands on some hip hop.
